Image Size: 36 x 28cm, Paper Size:55 x 45 cm, 2015
All the light shines on the stag. It is his time. He is stronger and more confident. Yeats moves through these woods of his County Sligo and foretells the changes that are about to take place. As he writes, the woods are thriving and full of life — thunder of pigeons and the hum of bees — but change is afoot. Yeats will move through these woods and emerge into the artist that he will become.
